Here’s how my partner turned me into a dog person

Haley has told me that people regularly ask her how she waved her magic wand and transformed me from a dog-less heathen into a super supportive boyfriend (who loves Scout enough to take her out for late night potty breaks and deal with constantly wearing her fur on my clothes).

It may appear to have happened overnight, but the journey took quite a bit longer.

Who wants to hear about the boring bits of the “guy finally falls in love with man’s best friend” story, though? It’s supposed to be a “swish and flick” and POOF! I mean, isn’t that how you fell in love with dogs? 😉
